Under the experimental conditions taken into consideration, and taking into account the results obtained, the use of lotus stem cells has made it possible to maintain the cells in the exponential growth phase, which has resulted in the presence of a confluent and homogeneous cell bed compared to untreated cells that have a relatively high percentage of senescent cells and a fragmented cell bed with cells blocked in phase G1 in a state of senescence.
It can therefore be said that plant stem cells have
given rise to the significant increase in the substances of youth (collagen, proteoglycans, etc.) and at the same time the reduction in senescent cells.
